Our Technology - Certification

The Supaloc ^® system includes the provision of certification by a third party qualified engineer. Most local government authorities will require the submission of framing drawings as part of the building approval process. In some circumstances, council and/or private building certifiers will allow provisional building approval to be granted on the submission of a certification letter prepared on behalf of Steel Building Systems by its third party certifying engineer.

All Supaloc ^® products are certified by a Chartered Professional and Independent Technical Expert within the meaning of Regulation 85 of the Development Act, 1993. The assessment is based on the requirements of the Australian Standards and other documents listed as reference documents to the Building Code of Australia. Based on Steel Building System test results, standard section data, and the engineer's check calculations, each project is built in accordance with the provisions for strength, stiffness and serviceability as required by Part B of the building Code of Australia.
